Curt Huebert is a children’s picture book author and illustrator and a passionate explorer of worlds both real and imaginary. He strives to provide safe and exhilarating environments where children can embark on adventures of the mind and heart.

As an artist, musician, and engineer, Curt’s expertise enables him to navigate between the abstract and the concrete, enriching his work with a unique fusion of creativity and technical precision. His artistic background includes visual arts (digital media, drawing, ceramics, jewellery, graphic design), as well as sonic arts (traditional and experimental music creation, mixing, composition). His technical abilities extend to engineering (geology, data visualization), as well as trade related skills (woodworking, masonry, renovation). As an early adopter of artificial intelligence technologies, he utilizes AI extensively within his illustrations.

His childhood adventures exploring frog ponds in rural Saskatchewan and traversing African jungles laid the foundation for a lifetime of exploration. Since then he has lived, worked, and travelled from South American rainforests to the tundra of Arctic Canada. His travels have instilled a deep appreciation for the world's natural and cultural diversity, a theme that echoes throughout his work.
